Strange!
Of all the vehicles that I’ve tested for MOT, I have never been in the position to use the vehicle’s own self-cancelling facility. You would have to drive it on the road to properly check this – Or turn the steering lock to lock whilst operating the indicators -Â Not a part of the test!
I turn the indicator on, check operation, then turn indicator off… That’s basically all that every other tester should do, too…
