We have had numerous handbrake cable snap during the MOT test.
It’s not our fault. It’s down to the condition of the vehicle.
We tell the presenter they are extremely lucky that it happened under test conditions – and not in a life threatening situation out on the road.
They are usually glad of this, and want us to repair it as soon as we can.
