Ok taking the above comment to be accurate & true..(as i am sure it is)..Q:What if the previous tester got it wrong?..&..What if it is the first time the vehicle has been presented.?.;)..Why does the VTS “devious” allow us to carry on..??..[/quote]
My experience was with a Ford Transit, the van was a short wheel base which I took to be a class iv, however after registering the computer advised that the class of vehicle had changed, and previously tested as a class vii, so I checked the VIN plate which indicated 3500Kg, I then aborted the test and sent it to the local class vii station, this is all I know, sorry can’t be more helpful.
