I read a few weeks a go about a tester who advised that on a car he tested he found the nearside front antiroll bar linkage rod missing, he then said he contacted VOSA because there was no reason for rejection, VOSA replied that the car would be too dangerous to test and should be abandoned?
I just tested a car where the nearside rear antiroll bar linkage was missing, and based on the rusty appearance must have been missing for some time, surely VOSA can’t expect a tester to abandon a test based on their opinion that a vehicle with a linkage missing is dangerous?
What happens when an antiroll bar is missing, the testers manual says fail that not abandon it?
