I was wondering whether any confusion was present with regards being able to measure from the corrosion to the mounting point, but wondering if a seat belt mounting point was used how one would know to be within the 30cm limit if it cannot be seen, because most now are fastened to the seat frame?
If one looks at the underside floor panel of a modern vehicle, the seat securing bolt cannot always be seen, so a subjective measure may need to be taken at the discretion of the tester, I just wanted other view points.
