to recent post no theres no drain hole in well under seat which has lead to the corrosion i have sorted the leak now.
yes hole can be seen from under seat and outside looking up from rear wheel the hole is its self 1cm but with rot surrounding this 8cm x 4cm .
from the hole to seat anchorage it over 12″ but to seat lock its 8″ so would that be fail then.

If your excessive corrosion is within 30cm of a seat frame which incorporates a seatbelt mounting, yes it would fail.
