One of a number of anomalies in the Testers Manual is regards emissions print outs.
Spark ignition procedures clearly state that a copy of the print out should be given to the presenter, yet there is no equivalent guidance for diesel emissions tests, only a requirement to retain a copy of the results for three months.
As “best practice” I advise my sites to provide a second copy for the customer, maybe you can ask for a copy at retest.
Whatever the results were from the initial test, there is, in the case of a holed exhaust, a requirement to re-test the emissions as part of the retest procedure.
