the limits you quote are the only ones weve been given, keep in mind that the guy testing it might not even be aware of it as the ministry took the informed rational decision to allow us testers to find crap like this out on our lonesome as opposed to giving any real guidance/tuition etc on the new items introduced 05/18,also when testing it the oil etc will be hot and will leak quicker, hell be shaking steering/pressing brakes etc and doing a lotta this while standing under said leak and it don’t take a lotta red hot oil pissing down your face and over your test station floor to really give you a downer on the car and owner concerned as well as sometimes looking worse than it is.having said all that he cud simply be trying to earn a few quid,i don’t know the guy or garage/car concerned so can only speculate,1st port of call is the tester and try to reach an agreement amicably,it cud simply be an misunderstanding so get him to show you.on a personal aside I am a little surprised it didn’t fail on terminal welding on the sills in particular.lastly being a transverse v6 don’t stop it hitting the exhaust etc,you do in point of fact have 2 exhausts for it to choose to burn off from and this(and the associated rank stench) is what normally brings em to our door:shock:
