Hi, I recently bought some decals to affix to my registration plate which are of legal image/font etc.
As i had MOT the next day I took the stickers in but before I could ask my MOTer said they were not legal, the implication being any stuck on sticker on a registration plate is not legal.
The seller, however, is swearing blind they are legal, and to be fair to them I cannot find any mention of stickers per se being illegal.
Can you shed any light?
For sake of discussion, assume, if fitted, the plates would look identical to a pre-made set with the approved image. I’m interested only in the “can’t apply any stickers” side of things.
