Just wondering what the rules and criteria are for failing an MOT due to a broken exhaust:
The exhaust is broken but after the muffler, which is separating the system from the tail pipe (around 30cm). If this 30cm straight tail pipe is missing, will it pass MOT as the exhaust system will be securely mounted and has the catalytic converter and all silencers still present?
