Hello everyone.
Me and my girlfriend are experiencing the same we just bought a car on the 7th of May and the car is a 2016 model and wen trying to get it taxed we needed this exemption cert. We contacted the dealer who said there must be something we can do. I went ahead on the 7th of May and booked the mot for the 29th June in hopes it would be cancelled and we would get the exemption but we still haven’t received anything.
The sites say its automatic for these cars post march 30th and looks like our car was registered in April 2016.
Can anyone advise on what we should do cause I don’t want to cancel the mot and have to rebook and delay it further
