Thanks for the response. Based on your info, I’d agree that the car won’t be exempt from the airbag requirements as it doesn’t have a cage or racing seat/harness. All I’ve really done so far is remove as much of the interior as I can to reduce the weight.
I plugged the computer in earlier on and I think I’ve managed to tell the car that it no longer has rear tensioners. I’m very new to all of the electronic stuff so I didn’t think this would work but so far, the light has stayed off, hopefully it should be ok. Again thanks for the info.
