the correct procedure is to abandon the test if its a fault with the vehicle or abort it if its a fault with the tester or eqpmnt.i have never looked to see if it appears on the history although i do know that it appears on the relevant stations history if we look it up.having said all that what you show is a fail and the only people that can remove it are dvsa,the station concerned wont be able to.my guess is their equipment snuffed it during said test and theyve entered emissions not tested in order that they can simply retest it when the eqpmnts fixed.when you abandon/abort a complete full test must be conducted when it returns as the original test doesnt count as having been completed so they probably did it to make their life easier on retest.go back and ask em would be the first port of call.
