Hi,
I moved to Spain a few years ago and put my UK Range Rover onto a Spanish plate while we lived in Spain.
I have now moved back to the UK and got clearance from the HMRC and brought the car back.
I understand the next stage would be getting the headlights reverted to uk regs and getting an MOT.
My question is do I need to get the MOT sorted before requesting it go back on to UK plates and if so do I get the MOT on the foreign plate or the VIN or do I request the registration first? DVLA is no help at all… all I seem to do is leave messages and no one calls back.
Expert advice would be sorely appriciated
