I had my motorhome transported to a garage I have used before. This was in march this year. The rear brake slave cylinders had failed resulting in a large loss of brake fluid. The garage replaced the cylinders but said they had ordered the wrong size brake shoes so would refit the originals as they were serviceable. 3 months later and about 600 miles covered the same garage failed the rear brakes on the MOT. They then carried out another repair which appears to be a repeat of the first repair other than replacing the cylinders. The brake shoes still haven’t been replaced. The work sheet reads,”brakes cleaned and adjusted brake shoes slightly crumbling.
The vehicle has been issued with a pass certificate.
I’m not confident the vehicle is safe. Would I have a case to report this to the DVSA?
