Hi all
My tyre fail rate is currently very high. I’m working for bmw and the tyres are very soft and get cut easily . There is very little rubber before the cords in the primary grooves where there is no tread and also at points where the tread is low. My boss is unhappy with my tqi’s and has decided my tool is not suitable. I use a pick that has been cut off and the end rounded off. I now have to use a plastic trim tool which is far too soft to open a cut. What tools do you all use to open a cut or do you even bother to open smaller cuts
Thanks
