    I have a panel protruding abou an inch from the side of my VW golf. Its one of those plastic ones so I can’t beat it and a new ones 500 quid according to the official dealer. Anyone know if it would pass if I glue/masking tape it back?

    Hi & welcome to the forum. Glue & masking tape should get you through the MOT. There should be no sharp edges or protrusions which would be likely to “cause injury when grazed or contacted”
