Whats the fail ?
I’ve recently been on a refresher course and one very similar to this was shown as an example of a incorrectly failed brake disc.

It’s a lorry wheel. Not a brake rotor.

Looks like a brake disc on my pc.

I would fail it, and mark it as dangerous as well.

But he (or she) certainly got their moneys worth there!

If that disc/rotor was visable when fitted then I would also fail for being seriously weakened. 😎

I am always that little bit happier when the item I am testing can be seen.

If one of the rotor faces has detached leaving the remaining face intact, and the brake pads are still serviceable, would the correct reason for rejection not be excessive fluctuation per wheel revolution, which is the newer posh way for grad and judder fail among other types of brake defects;)
