    Hi,

    Will any damage on tyre sidewall lead to MOT Failure?
    Have a look at picture of my runflat tyre, will this fail?

    No reason to fail as its superficial The lip is by design deeper partly to protect your expensive wheel rims.

    Yes, you can appeal the outcome, but at most in this case the tester could make a written “advise” on the damage.

    Hi Carlos,

    It was caused due to a pothole that was covered in water! I should have claimed it against the council at the time, be we were travelling around the UK and didn’t get the time!
