    This image was sent in for publication to Feb ’12 edition of MOT Testing magazine. Couldn’t resist posting it here. Aside from the face of the disk being worn away down past the cooling fins, according to the tester “The inner pad was worn away and missing. The car was braking using the caliper’s piston which had worn down about 3mm”.
    The customer actually asked “Does it need doing straight away or can it wait till I get paid?”!

    I wonder whether that would meet the criteria, insecure as part of it is missing;), anyway it would definately meet the criteria for a refusal to carry out a roller brake test, abandon test:)

    Why would you refuse to test? It’s not dangerous? The brakes are working. so a roller test can be carried out.
    edit. sorry mis read your post. you said abandon! trying to read my phone in the dark without my glasses!!
